For anyone with carpal tunnel issues, a vertical mouse is a must, since it rotates the user's hand about 45 degrees clockwise, into a more natural "handshake" position.. This iClever version fills the bill perfectly -- it's well-made and comfortable to use.
When you go to unpack it, you may think at first that the USB plug through which the mouse communicates with the computer has been omitted. But no, it's included: it's so tiny that you'll find it tucked inside the battery compartment, securely contained in its own little slot. The two AAA batteries it needs, BTW, are not included. Also, bear in mind that the mouse is for right-handed users only. I don't know whether they make a left-handed version.
The only quirk I have found is that after the computer has awakened from sleep mode, this mouse does not wake up on its own -- the cursor is not visible anywhere on the screen, and even moving the mouse around does not induce its appearance. I quickly discovered an easy workaround: just tap the scroll-wheel and the cursor magically appears.
All told: a good mouse, and a good value.
I like the button feedback is great. It has a nice natural feel to it. A little different than my hand wants to go, but probably just need to get used to it. Second iclever device. I would recommend.
Great mouse! Easy to use. Comfortable. Nice feel. Just what I was looking for to resolve my wrist/arm pain.
Bought this to replace my Apple mouse. This mouse has a good design with great button placements. The adjustable DPI button is very useful to quickly change the sensitivity. The mouse does feel very light and take sometime to get used to but it is helpful in the long run.
The Bluetooth connectivity is really good and the setup is minimum. For me it was “plug and play”.
It takes two AAA batteries which is rare for a mouse but let’s see how long they last.
Overall great ergonomic mouse on a budget.
This is the most comfortable mouse I've ever rested my hand on. It's more comfortable than nothing similar to a pillow for your head or plush slippers for your feet. Unlike a rollerball mouse that puts repetitive burden on your thumb tendon, this mouse spreads the movement evenly over your hand, wrist and arm in their most natural, most comfortable positions. You will need two AAA batteries not included, and an empty USP port for the Bluetooth plug. The buttons are silent, so you won't be "clicking" but sorta whispering. My forearm and shoulder were becoming sore with my old mouse, and after only a couple days using the iClever Vertical Mouse, the pain is gone. Buy it. Love it!
I bought this for my husband and he wasn't sure he was going to like it. He is amazed how comfortable it is. The only thing he would change is having the scroll wheel more to the front but his hand large. I had to try it out as well and think it is fabulous! We have several other iClever items and they are great also.
Ordered for my hubby, he loves it! I tried it out and decided to order one for myself too. Carpal tunnel surgery almost thirty years ago but still have pain in my wrists from working on computers daily for my job, really hoping this helps as much as it seems it will.
I've been using this ergonomic mouse for several days and my wrist feels much better. would recommend it to anyone who have wrist pain, or want to prevent wrist pain in the future.
This is a very comfortable mouse to use. I bought it for my office. Other types of mice make my wrist ache, but this one does not. I recommend if you have wrist aches as well.
I've been using this mouse for casual gaming, surfing, shopping online for two days now and so far it has been great. The mouse is responsive, the wheel scrolls smoothly and no "click" noise!! There is a bit of learning curve as the movement is now controlled by the entire arm as opposed to just the wrist, which means there is a loss in precision. It's not a big deal and only noticeable if I am gaming. I am hoping this can be overcome with a brief learning curve.
I think the jury is still out if this mouse will help with my early carpal tunnel, but so far I like using this mouse a lot. Plus, the price cannot be beat!!
