This device works very well and charges a cell phone at a rate of about 1-2% per minute in evening daylight hours, I can't wait to see what it does with bright sun light.
Well designed product, and it is amazing that they were able to squeeze in a 8000 maH battery.
I wanted to get this solar USB charger for two reasons: I live in Florida and we have power outages during storm season and I roadtrip a lot. Have a solar-powered charger will be very handy in either case. iClever's Solar Charger is cleverly designed and well-made like all their products. Two solar panels soak up the sun and store power. The LEDs and input/output are conveniently built into a magnetic closing flap. A holder strap has an elastic loop and velcro to be able to attach or carry the panels in a variety of ways. It can also be used like a stand to tilt the solar panels toward the sun. I especially like that the unit does have an input so that you can charge it up and go then use solar power whenever electricity is not available to charge it back up. At 8000mAH, iClever's Solar Charger will hold more power than most pocket chargers but its slim profile will let you slip it in any bag. Comes with a high-quality USB cable. The iClever Solar Charger will come along in the car from now on!
Pretty impressed, works well. Gets a few i phone charges from one solar charge. I bought it for a backpacking trip and I plan to hang it on the top of my pack.
I bought this for my military fiancé to use in field training, and it's held up well for him. Takes a while to charge but you have to expect that with a solar panel.
Well constructed. Fully charges in few hours. Retains charge for extended time. Ideal for back up of cellular phones, tablet, satellite phone.
This Solar bank is insane. It has 2 6W panels and an 8000 mah battery. It only takes 4 hours to charge fully in sunlight! That's remarkable timing for such small panels. The quality is also off the charts. I'm glad I bought this handy item.
This solar charger works great. I took it deep into the Yellowstone mountains on a horse pack fly fishing trip, & used it to keep my phone (camera) & Bluetooth speaker charged throughout a week totally off the grid.
This solor charger is just what I needed. It charged up my phone quickly.
its 30F in New York and 100% cloudy, took all day to give me 50% charge.. thats 4,000mah out of 8,000mah i believe.. still charged an iPhone6 plus from 0-100% and finally died.. i did test it last year in summer when its sunny, battery pack charges dead to full in 3-4 hours and than will charge an iphone 6 plus 2 times from 0% to 100%.. this battery pack charges faster than these little ones on the market.. yes I have them and Im happy, but for camping Id take this one in my back pack because it will give me the power pretty quick!
If your phone is dead and battery pack is dead.. not that I tested, but dont expect to plug it in on a sunny day and start playing video games right away.. i treat this battery pack more as emergency even doe it does the job very well.. charge your phone and battery pack, then go camping.. kill the battery pack, than put it outside when your phones are charged.. i had a iphone 5, charged it fully and left the battery pack outside charging.. this way you good on power!
