Products pretty good. I got a small battery pack that has solar as a secondary source of power and quickly realized that I needed the converse, more about solar and less about battery. This is great, has a nice feel to it too. I put it in my rv window or truck dash and Ive gotten at least a phone charge a day in sunny california in the fall and its not even always in the sun. Some of the other small solar panels needed a battery etc. this one comes ready to go. And although the battery is seperate from the panel, its very durabaly attatched. For the reviewers complaining about the mounting, I recommend doing something like I did with paracord or maybe even using a carabiner with a keyring to mount it on a backpack or whatever.
I lived in a jungle off the grid for 5 months with this solar charger as my only source of power. It did not disappoint! It held up in the extreme living conditions, charging quickly when there was sun, and then powering my electronics when it was raining. Only annoying part is the protective fabric around the solar panel is not waterproof so you don't want to leave this out in the rain or submerge it.
1 year of light use and holding up well.
She is perfect good charging power!
This is a great item, and it is perfect when you need usb power anywhere.
My only issue with it is that it comes in a bright orange color, which I particularly do not like. Dark colors like green, blue, or red, or just all black would have been nice. Grey too.
This device works very well and charges a cell phone at a rate of about 1-2% per minute in evening daylight hours, I can't wait to see what it does with bright sun light.
Well designed product, and it is amazing that they were able to squeeze in a 8000 maH battery.
I wanted to get this solar USB charger for two reasons: I live in Florida and we have power outages during storm season and I roadtrip a lot. Have a solar-powered charger will be very handy in either case. iClever's Solar Charger is cleverly designed and well-made like all their products. Two solar panels soak up the sun and store power. The LEDs and input/output are conveniently built into a magnetic closing flap. A holder strap has an elastic loop and velcro to be able to attach or carry the panels in a variety of ways. It can also be used like a stand to tilt the solar panels toward the sun. I especially like that the unit does have an input so that you can charge it up and go then use solar power whenever electricity is not available to charge it back up. At 8000mAH, iClever's Solar Charger will hold more power than most pocket chargers but its slim profile will let you slip it in any bag. Comes with a high-quality USB cable. The iClever Solar Charger will come along in the car from now on!
Pretty impressed, works well. Gets a few i phone charges from one solar charge. I bought it for a backpacking trip and I plan to hang it on the top of my pack.
